My team at SCAD and I worked on a project in collaboration with Google in which we examined the future of advertising. Through our user research we discovered: data privacy is a growing concern in a world capitalized by technology, and people want to be in control of their data.

The Dome:

The Google Dome is an interactive experience where users can log onto their Google account and see their personal data visualized around them.

 

2025:

Communities can be formed because of individuals who form partnerships with brands. Dark mode is a feature in which a user can completely shut off data access to a brand who doesn’t support their values anymore, therefore controlling your advertising experience.
